You can add a widget with upcoming birthdays to your "Today View" or to your "Home Screen" by touch and hold on an existing widget or app and then pressing the add button.

Search for the **MyFriends** app and select one of the three sizes for the birthday widget. Finally you long press on the widget to move it to another place on the screen.
